As I go through my wedding pictures, I’m transported back to the day of my wedding. There is so much emotion and positive energy that emanates from these photos. I’m so grateful I chose Sophia as my wedding photographer. Sophie was a dream to work with. I especially appreciated her willingness to travel. Sophia is a photographer based in the Albuquerque area, but she made it abundantly clear that traveling to Roswell was not a problem. In fact, the day of my wedding had a random travel requirement with which Sophie had no qualm. I asked that she meet my small wedding party at the Salinas National Monuments (just outside of Estancia) in the morning, and she was there early, prepared to take pre-ceremony pictures. Her experience shone through the lense of her camera, particularly in the way that she captured everyone’s joy and excitement. I trusted her artistic eye and followed her clear directions on where and how to pose. I am so pleased with every picture of the ceremony; it was an intimate gathering and she masterfully conveyed this. We took an unplanned detour after the ceremony; without question, Sophie followed and documented this adventure with her camera. These photos may be my favorites of this day: the ice cream shop wedding party. Finally, we all got in our cars and traveled a couple hours back to Roswell for our wedding reception. Sophia was so kind. Upon our arrival, she asked if we needed any help setting up and often offered her services beyond just taking pictures. She diligently shot pictures of all the decor, all of the smiling guests, and the wild festivities that followed. Sophie recorded every goofy, silly, joyous, intimidate, emotional moment into photographs filled with memories. I’m appreciative Sophia was my photographer, but I’m even more grateful she got to be my wedding guest. I’m looking forward to working with Sophia on future projects soon!
